  1. Tighten my seatbelt.


  2. I make a public address announcement, and like Jason, try not to spill my coffee.

I listen to all of the pilots complaints about the turbulence and how about coffee is getting all over there shirts and magazines.  Then i have to put down my coffee and magazine and figure out what is the best reroute and alt that they want to get away from the horrible turbulence.  And then on they go passengers none the wiser save for there coffee stains.

  5. Enjoy it while it happens. Im a planespotter and i know there are people out there who cant stand it but i get a buzz from it.

  6. if it was hooters airlines, i would wish for turbalance and an isle seat :) lol. especially w/ the flight attendents passing by lol.

  7. Not much you can do. I just look at my husband and smile. He's a pilot & if he's not bothered, why should I be?

  9. slow down to VA or less, tighten seat belt, make a pirep to fss/atc, seek an altitude that offers a smoother ride.

    Last but not least, land as soon as practicable if necessary.

    I also sometimes have to put down the sudoku because the bumpiness makes my numbers hard to read.

  14. nothing because I know that the plane is build to withstand turbulence . I think turbulence makes the journey more exciting.
