  1. You start going in the opposite direction.  change basic daily habits, push yourself to achieve small goals... Change is always good, it gives you the opportunity to see how things were - if you preferred them that way or the alternative.  Changing basic things about your daily lifestyle will get you moving in opposite directions and therefore hopefully away from the path that is "taking you nowhere"...  Make yourself a list of goals for the week/month I'm not meaning major goals - small things such as a scrapbook, or a hike - whatever you like to do but never get to do) and start with this...

    Hang in there....

  2. i often feel like this when i have allot on my mind and have allot of stressful things 2 do if ur life has been boring right now ur going 2 feel sluggish and low as if u cant be bothers 2 do anything even things u like doing!

iv got a little list of things u can do 2 help pick ur self up :)

exercise - i know ur not going 2 feel like exercising but just do a little for about 10 minutes ull start 2 feel more full of energy and up 2 doing things

talking- even a little chat with someone close 2 u is going 2 make u feel special and know u aren't just some empty space

treat ur self- seen something in a shop u like? why not get something nice for your self it will help take ur mined off of things

even if u dont feel like doing anything...do something u enjoy ull start 2 feel like doing more things at ur own speed

    hope this helps :)

  3. Forget the past and move on! you have to be strong and not let anything stop you. Do the things you want to do and don't worry about anything else. Never feel like life is taking you nowhere, there is always something out there for you. You just have to get out there and find out what that something is.

  4. There is a saying... Don't ask where is life taking me? You tell life where you want to go!

  5. If I know it's a shortlived feeling, I'll throw myself into the present. Go watch TV, read a good book, take a bubble bath, eat some chocolate, go shopping - anything to lift that bout of depression because once I'm out of the rut life makes sense again.

If it's a prolonged feeling, I'd go do something and make goals. Start a reading list of all the classics and things I should have read, and go through it. Decide to learn something, like basic Italian or how to work with music remix software. Join a club or start a new hobby - salsa dancing or poetry reading - something that I enjoy and I can meet new people with.

I haven't yet had any of these chronic bouts but I'd like to think that if I do I'll be able to get out of it as quickly as possible.

  6. i sit down and wait for it to leave and get back to living

  7. Depends on your age.  If young get more education and a better job.

If older invest in a hobby or get a pet.. I am retired  I got myself a little dog and she helps me cope with life.
