What do you do when you find someone dead?

What do you do if you find a family member dead? Like if you wake up and find that they died throughout the night. Who do you call? What do you do? I've always wondered this.

Don't touch a thing and call 911. They take it from there.

ok..well..when i realize that person passed, i would close my eyes and be thankfull of the time i had with them....look around the room and grab a camara and take a dozen pics. (they could still be around!)

i would wake anybody else in the house..if alone. i would call the ambulance and proceed with the burial or creamation arrangments.

You call the police. They will do the rest.

Just call the police. and/or ambulance.

They will come, ask questions what not.. and take the body away for autopsy and all that good stuff.

Well, my mother found her mother dead and proceeded to perform CPR whilst phoning the police. Unfortunately, she was already gone. Anyway, you call the police and try to perform CPR.

Well first you call 911 aka the Police and then after that you mourn their death.

You call 911 right away. the person needs ot be pronounced dead, and the body taken to a funeral home or crematorium. You shouldn't stress about too much. Most people die in hospitals or are under hospice care if they die at home.
