Like me...when I get the hiccups I hold my breathe for as long as I can and as soon as I let it out I take a big gulp of some kind of liquid (usually pop or water), some use a spoon full of peanut butter, and some drink a glass of water upside down (I don't know how this is done, but if you do then more power to ya.) How do you get rid of them, if there is any other ways that I haven't named please share with us!

  1. Drink a glass of water while holding your breath for about 10 seconds.

  2. Have Your parents go to a liquor store and get a bottle of Bitters. It will only take a teaspoon to get rid of the hiccups. Tastes bad,but it works....

  3. You know what, Kara, if you want to answer a question in this site, make sure it's helpful and it won't p**s the asker. Thank you.

  4. I take a sip of water and hold it in my mouth, then I go to the living room and lean upside down on the couch kind of like this http://static-p.arttoday.com/thw/thw13/P... but not with the weird face and leg thing lol. I have my feet on the back part of the couch on top of the cushions, and my head touching the ground, then I slowly swallow the water in a few gulps. It works
