Specifically events that you can leave once started. Like during a wedding ceremony you are apart of (maid of honor), during your graduation (a graduate), during an SAT testing (a tester), (etc)

People are always warning me never to put on protection unless I am sure I have my period ..... but what about when it's marked on your calendar that it will come by the date of a formal occasion?

  1. Put on protection :)

Its better to be safe than sorry.

Do you really want to be standing in front of everyone at the wedding with a huge red stain on the back of your dress?

But im sure youll be able to sneak away to the toliet for a few mins

    Good Luck

  2. It's not a good idea to wear a tampon when you aren't actually bleeding, if you know your period is due on a certain day, by all means put on a pad before you go out.

  3. Most girls wear a pad as first defense and tuck a tampon or two into that cute little bag we all carry on formal occasions.  Sometime during that long formal affair there will be bathroom breaks, check your cycle IF you have started then use the tampon, if not Wait. Leave the pad in place.

Do not use a tampon before you need it.  You could end up with Toxic Shock and get very sick or even die.   It is rare but it does happen.

I personally have never used Tampons because of the risk of TSS.  I have a fragil autoimmune system.

  4. Wear a pad if you think you're going to get it, don't wear a tampon.  Be armed with pads, tampons, and even extra underwear.  Just be prepared.

  5. put on a pad if your worried on that day...but don't put in a tampon unless her sure you have your period. Odds are that if you don;t have it by the morning of that day your not going to have it.

  6. If you know something is comming up and it is around the time of your period I would always put in a tampon no matter what.

  7. if its something important, by all means wear protection. you'll more confident and at ease!
