  1. take the ball away

  2. ..jOin your chiLd..=]

iT acTuaLy happened to me.. and i was nOt happy whEn mOm scoLded me..

i wished that time if she cOuLd appreciaTe me...

  3. if there is no other place for them to go.

let them be, be glad they love it enough to do it all the time.

BUT, make it VERY clear that if they break something, they will be in BIGtrouble.

  4. you tell him to stop and explain why it is not good to play volley ball in the living room.

  5. Practice makes perfect!! As long as the child isn't messing up anything or breaking anything you should let them be. I suggest a ballon or even a sock!

  6. beat the **** out of him and send him to his room.

  7. A "child" (i.e. singular?)

Join him/her - it's difficult for one person to play volleyball.

Now, if it's damage to your house and furniture you're worried about, maybe get one of those lightweight balls, or even a big round balloon.

  8. i would just tell them to go in the basement to play because i am a volleyball fan and i wouldnt tell my kids to stop i would just tell them not to in the living room

  9. Nicely explain to him/her that what he/she is doing is not good, and give him/her something else fun to do, or show him/her somewhere else he/she can do it.

  10. You stop him/her.

  11. I coach my boy in the living room, when it is dark or cold outside... otherwise I take him into the back yard or nearby school for practice.

We don't hit that hard, and we make sure we have control over every single touch. It is a good way of "control training".

We used to throw baseball to each other inside the house before his fingers became strong enough to set volleyball.

It is better than watching him playing video game... at least.
