What do you do when you have a very controlling mother?

yeah i have a mother who controls every aspect of my life. anyone have one like mine? i need advice!

Need more information from you. Do you still live with her, Are you an only child, You should try to talk to her and let her know what exactly is bothering you.

I used to. Depending on how old you are, you should sit her down, and TELL HER that she has taught you how to think and should allow you to do so, using sound judgment and either reaping the benefits or suffering the consequences. Let her know that she is not helping in supporting your independence and that you want to have a better relationship with her but don't want to dream about the opportunity of leaving for college JUST because of HER.
