  1. when i swing into my depressive state i come here for help and always find a great new friend :)

  2. i usually sit down for a minute to collect my thoughts, and i breathe deep breaths.  i tell myself that none of this really matters in the long run.  if it is really bad and there's no getting through to myself that it doesn't matter, i'll cry (even if i'm out in public).  crying feels amazing, ha.  it releases all of that tension.  other times, i'll just sit down and write out everything that i'm feeling.  it's cathartic.  i used to go the self deprecating and pitying route, but i've found that to be useless.  if you really feel like c**p, give yourself a treat - a new outfit, a pint of your favorite ice cream, a good book while you curl up next to your dog or cat :)  bad things happen...it takes a long time to gain control over your reactions.

  3. I run, draw, or write.

    Mostly run.

    And sometimes music helps.

  4. I just tell myself that everyone has these days, and that tomorrow will definitely be better.

I give myself time to relax at the end of the day (especially bad ones) with a cup of herbal tea, and I watch my favourite comedies on tv like Roseanne or Friends, anything that will change my thoughts and make me laugh.

Sometimes I find that calling a friend or my sister helps too.

  5. try to remove yourself from  what is making you feel this . try going for walk.

  6. I usually call my best friends and talk to them. Or i like to listen to my favorite song over and over.
