I had a storage unit burn to the ground some years ago and I had mementos in there that could not be replaced..but I read a story about the famous dancer/actor Gene Kelly. His home burned down once and he lost years of Hollywood mementos that were one of a kind. He was just glad that his family was safe. s***w the THINGS. So, I kind of use that philosophy when it comes to material things.
