Like when i'll be meeting my friends after almost 4 years. We've been talking on the internet but just like once in 4 months. And i suddenly become shy in front of people in such situations. How do i start talking? And about what? Her or me? I don't have much good things to talk about. And since we're doing entirely different subjects now so we don't even have studies in common. Weird we used to gel so good in school.

  1. Hug her, then ask about her. When she ask  about you, tell her.  Go for a meal together and slowly go from there.

  2. First, give her a hug the second you see her.  It kind of opens the door for a lot of things.

2nd, don't talk too much about yourself.  You can use it as a conversation starter, but switch the focus to her.  Since you get shy, then the focus is on her, but you put your two cents in.

3rd, if the conversation goes downward, you can just bring up old things that you used to do with her.  Like, "Hey, remember that guy in the 10th grade?  Yeah!  I saw him a couple months ago and..."

Good luck!  Reunions are tough, but in the long run they are worth it.  "Make new friends but keep the old".-Girl Scout song, haha.

  3. don't worry so much it'll just come natural when you see her. maybe SHE will have a lot to talk to you about

  4. Reminisce about the good old days & gradually inform each other about what's been going on in your life since you've last seen them. After not seeing each other in 4 years, it would appear that you guys are strangers, but in all actuality, you share history together. Start there. Good luck!
