What do you do when you realize your husband's family members are scum bags?

My husband even said so himself a few times. They don't shower, they walk around barefoot outside, the kids eat their boogers, they're always sick, they use people for favors, they get lice all the time, they use hair spray to cover up their oily hair odors, they don't clean their house, their house is infested with fleas and other bugs, they have the money to pay their bills, but they let the water and electric get shut off, etc.

They define what a scum bag is! What do you do when you find out that your hubby's family is like this? When we first met he didn't get along with his mom so I was never to the house where he grew up. My clean habits never allowed me to see what types of messes my hubby could make. He is far from being like them! It's hard to believe he was raised like that.

So what do you do when you can't avoid them? When they have to visit and sit on your couch with their creepy crawlers? I shampoo my couch often!

You can avoid them....stop inviting them over.

they proably have different character defects to work on than you do. however, be careful not to judge others.

If your husband hangs with scum, the scum rubs odd on him, his legit friends say Billy runs with scum lets drop him from our friends list. Great Jelly that's right if we hang with Billy, plp will think we are scum also.

As for your self, you girlfriends may think your scum because your husband hangs with scum

That is really gross and I think you need to sit down with your husband and tell him you don't want them in your house if they are infested with anything and have not taken a shower. It isn't the best conversation to have but it is necessary for the health of your family.
