I am now an alternate in my synchronized swimming team. And I want to quit it because I'm doing a duet with someone I don't want to be with. But then again I don't because I would miss all the people (except the coaches) and all the fun things we do together. What should I do?

  1. Life is full of things we don't want to do. Hang in there with it.

  2. Suck it up and take one for the team.

Don't quit or you'll live to regret it.

  3. JUST DO IT!

  4. Don't be a quitter.  Being on the team means being with them through ups and downs.  You should work with her whether you like it or not and work out the problems unless they are serious.

  5. Life is full of instances like this and no matter what sort of activity you are involved in, there will nearly always be someone you don't really want to be with or around.  Try a change of attitude.  There could be reasons unknown to you that cause this person to behave or be the way he or she behaves.  The old saying really works most of the time, 'you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."  Try being pleasant and charming toward this person and see if the relationship improves.  If he or she responds in a positive way, it could be a turning point in the relationship.  Give it a go and see what happens.  It isn't worth giving up the rest of the good things you enjoy with this group unless you are ready to move on with your life.

  6. Keep on Keeping on . the people will be gone the don't want to will fade . the time and experience will last a life time . seize the moment. Soak up the time . you be able to make memories that will far out way the bad, from coaches or people you don't care much for . ..keep on keeping on.

  7. Just tell the coach you don't want to do it with that certain person.  If they don't give you a new partner, quit.  If you're any good, they will honor your wishes.

  8. o come on its just one duet! you'll get over it. think--is dropping the whole thing worth it when all that u have to do is one duet?? dont be so dramatic its not the end of the world
