  1. Well, my home, in addition to the community at large, is my children's "school". When we're home, I'll work with them, do housekeeping, work on my own interests (math, writing, reading, needlework)...

  2. I just had to put my kids back into public school. So I clean my house, pay bills, play with my two kids that are still home, and I take my toddler for his doctor visits and treatments ( he has cancer).

  3. I teach him?

This is the homeschool section...our kids are with us for school.  We are their teachers/facilitators, so we are actively involved in their schooling each day.

  4. Teach them and help them.  If they are working independently, I work on the next lessons.  If they are REALLY being independent, then I can work on quarter plans, etc.  Update records, portfolios and so forth.

We eat meals together, we chore together, we pray and have devotions together.

    Housework.  Baking/cooking/gardening.

  5. Well we teach them! This is the home school section. Meaning school is done at home or in the van or some where other than a brick building with 30 kids in a class.

  6. Thank the Lord I don't have the answer you're looking for, b/c my boys are always with me. So I guess my answer would be that I paint with them, read to/with them, hug and kiss them whenever I want, "play" adding and subtracting, and wrestle on the living room floor at any given notice.. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

  7. This is homeschool Q&A. My child does not go away to school.

  8. Work an 8-5 job .

  9. Our parents do pretty much exactly the same as when we're at home, lol.

In our house, 'school' also doubles as the kitchen, the lounge room, the verandah, the calf shed, the mustering yards, the blacks' camp, the near-side bank of the creek, the third branch of the tree in the back paddock...

...or anywhere else we want to take ourselves and our books off to.

  10. My children's school is in our home, so I guess I am at home working along side them, and doing my normal daily activities.
