What do you do when your friend gets jealous of your good results?

It happens to me. My friend is like that. She's jealous of me getting good results in exams and she'll say mean things to me. What should I do? She's also very arrogant. She thinks that she is perfect when actually she's not.

I HAD a friend like that. Then I got a better friends. People like that suck the life out of people they are trying to bring down. She is so not worth your time if she is going to be like that. My EX friend would always say something mean to me when I would try and share something good that was going on in life for me. She thought the world revolved around her bleached blond head. So needless to say we are no longer friend for the past 10 yrs. Loser tried to contact me about 5 or 6 yrs ago and I just ignored it. I don't need trash like that in my life nor should you.

She should be proud of you,and of couse if she gets mean you won't be happy so i agree that you should find another friend..or if you like her-in other ways you could have a conversation to smoothen things out.I compliment my friends if they have good grades and tease them and call them names like "nerd" etc..but in a nice,joking kind of manner.

it happens to me too.

and based on my experience, the best thing to do is keep doing better than her. there will come a time that she will get used to it and later on, she'll be wanting tips from you.

you get another friend. because good friends aren't jealous of your good results, they are happy for you.

tell them to get over them self and then find another freind.
