What do you do with Bugs??? Please help!?

I have never had this problem in my apartment for 4 years!

They look like black ants with wings and they are attracted to the lamps at night. I only see them at night. I have a cat so I have to be careful what I spray, don't want to make her sick!

My apartment is very clean and I dust and run the vacuume every other day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I usually spread doggy doo on my lamps.  It smells bad, but the bugs get caught in it.

Not sure what part of the world you are in but you have the queen ants which have recently hatched and been kicked out of home being attracted to your lamps.

They will dissappear in a short while as they only keep their wings for about 72 hours, from memory, and then they lose them and start establishing another ant family out in your yard or where ever they end up.

They don't follow the same path each year as it depends on the prevailing winds. They just launch themselves into the air and the wind taked them and this year your area has them.

You will notice them around the street lights as well when they are swarming but not for long.
