What do you do with a newspaper?

Question

What do you do with old newspapers? do you put them on the fire, use them to make paper mache, or do you give them to homeless people to use for insulation?

Its for a sort of survey so feel free to give an answer.

After reading the newspaper, which I should be eating at the same time, I will put the newspaper under my plates so that it is easier to clean up. At least I don't need to wipe the table.

When I have kittens, I will use them to clean the litters. I won't use it for hamsters for fear they chew and put it in their mouth for whatever reasons. I won't want them to dirty their mouth and get posion. God knows what newspaper ink are make of.

I am sure you knew that newspaper is great for cleaning dusty windows. I myself use them to cover my walls when painting the ceilings.  I have to keep the cats away as they thought I hide their "pet toys" behind the walls and tear them to pieces.

But most of the time, I keep them for old folks who will come collect them. I don't know what they will do with it but since they want it and I have no use of them, I just donate them. It is the least that I can do. Cheers...

I put some in the bottom of the bird cage and recycle the rest of them.  When I go on vacation I have the paper given to the closest elementary school.

potty training the dog

cat litter when the cat was first declawed

cleaning windows (it doesn't leave lint)

keeping the mess off the counter when repotting plants or carving pumpkins (easy cleanup)

I always recycled them until about four weeks ago.

That was when I had my new puppy so now they are used to help to toilet train her.

Newspapers are great for cleaning glass mirrors!  Try it for a smear free shine.  Recycle once used.

At the moment I save them up & give them to my friend she's got two house training puppie dog's,but before that I used to put them in the recyling bags for the bin men
