What do you do with a skooma pipe in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind?

skooma is a drug in oblivion so im guessing a skooma pipe is like something bad =O lol. but if its a quest item look at your quest journal. maybe u give it to someone to convince them?

I've never played Morrowind but i have Oblivion probably you will have to go in your quests and to your current quests and it might show it on a quest if it doesnt go back and talk to the person who gave it to you or search the place for clues on what to do. In Oblivion i think skooma was a part of a guild quest.

In Morrowind, there is an illegal drug called Moon Sugar.  Moon Sugar is also used to make the beverage Skooma, which is likewise illegal.  Skooma can either be drunk or smoked in Skooma Pipes.

While you can ingest Skooma, you can do nothing with the pipe other than sell it.  Most merchants won't let you sell it, though, nor even do business with you if you have it in your inventory.  To remedy this, simply drop the offending item on the floor of the shop before you barter.  If you pick it up afterwards, it will not count as stealing.  Only Khajiit merchants will buy Moon Sugar, Skooma and Skooma Pipes.  

Effects

Skooma increases your speed and agility, while decreasing your intelligence and willpower. Drinking Skooma in large quantities results in short bursts of unparalleled speed, useful when retreating from a fight or meeting a quest deadline.

Skooma is, as you would expect, extremely addictive.  If you are playing a male character, Ahnassi at Pelagiad's Halfway Tavern will have a quest for you in which she asks you to aid her addicted ex-lover. Skooma is also known to have long-term effects, including a decrease of literacy and vocabulary. The book "Confessions of a Skooma-Eater" gives more information on the social effects of the drug.
