  1. Melt the plastic and make a sculpture out of them.

  2. Send them back to the company that originally sold them and ask for a refill!

  3. You make art! Seriously lovely stuff, isn't it?

  4. Get a Brita filter instead of using up so many bottles, and just put some filtered water in one of your bottles.  I've also seen some hammocks made out of plastic rings tied together, so I guess you could cut the bottles into rings and then make some hammocks.  In the US, those bottles are recycled into polarfleece and also into things like plastic park benches, so maybe you could get together with some people who have enough money and start a recycle plant for empty bottles.  Maybe you could write someone in the US who does that and they could tell you what you need to do to make it happen.

  5. Stop buying them and use glass!!! A recent study has shown that they have a certain chemical that is in them that is not good for you. Especially microwavable plastic because, when you scrub it with detergents and re use it over again each time it breaks it down microscopic particles that gets stuck inside you and doesnt pass. Allot like the way asbestos does, eventually leading to cancer. Look at the bottom of your bottle and do some research on the number that is on it and you will find out what danger level it is. Web MD is where I learned about the microwavable plastics.

  6. To the guy up there who said he keeps them for a couple of years.eeew yuck you use them for a couple of years you are a feral. I would just toss them out putting them in as pot plants or putting floweers in them is ugly do you really want people to come over to your place and see plastic water bottles full of flowers I doubt it. Toss em lol . do it

  7. recycle them.

  8. You can use them to start plants - flower pots. I suggest not getting anymore bottled water bottles and get a nice Sigg bottle and carry that around and refill it.

  9. Well,  I use them to transport milk to work for my cereal breaks.

BUT...I also use them to make mini-bird feeders (cut out a bit and hung by neck) and plant pots (cut in half-ish), wind socks (cut in swirly patterns and decorated and hung outside), and (if big enough) I will cut in half-ish, put a bread bag in it and use as a garbage can by my sink for veggie peels etc.

  10. I'm not sure I can link here, but I just watched this video where someone heated the leftover plastic bottles -- from water, soda and more -- into a garden sculpture/trellis.

  11. Well, you can recycle it and sell it to the public. And you can put there water. Bring it in your bag.

  12. You can cut off the tops and make vases or use them as containers for things like pencils after cutting off the top,or tie them all together with string and make a wall!

  13. I refill them, use them for a couple years then recycle them.

I do not have any more confidence in the water in the bottle originally than I have in the water in my tap, so why not refill as long as the bottle is usable?

I share my extra bottles with anyone who needs one, and encourage them to reuse many times before recycling.

  14. well i recycle them... maybe you could try making some sort of sculpture.. i don't me like a total work of art but i know they did that in my school XD

  15. Idea number 1.  Cut the bottoms off and use them as starter pots for flowers.  Be sure to punch holes in them for drainage.

Idea number 2.  Cut a window in the side of the bottle.  Put a small amount of dried grass in the bottom and hang the from a tree.  If you are lucky it will become a birds nest.

Idea number 3.  Cut the tops off and use them to hold stuff, like a pencils, coins and other things.
