What do you do with french knitting??

what can u do with it.. ??

any interesting ideass.. other then a mini rug??

  1. If you use cotton  yarn, wind them into coasters, or braid them and lace them into hot mats, chair pads, or larger rugs.  Made into rectangles you can also make table runners.  You can also use them as trims on other garments, purse handles, tie cords, or drawstrings.

    Editing:  for those who have never heard the term, french knitting is a type of I-cord made by using a french knitter, also known as a knitting nobby, knitting spool, knitting dolly, or knitting nancy.  Different places refer to these by different names.  As a child we hammered headless nails (brads) into the edge of woodent thread spools to knit on.


  2. I am not familiar with the term "french knitting". I have never come across it in any of the knitting sites I have been on. Please explain a bit better what it is you are doing and how we can help you.
