I usually try to take one when she's napping, or else I wait until her dad gets home, but there are days that I would like to take one and she isnt sleeping, I'd hate to let her scream in her crib while I am showering. any suggestions?

  1. My baby is currently 5 months.

I used to put him in the bathroom with me in his bouncy chair, and leave the door open.  He never cried once.  But I got rid of the bouncy chair, because he's so big for it now!

I sometimes put him in his doorway jumper thing...  In the bathroom, he does really well in there too!  I try to make those showers quick.  He gets tired of that fairly quickly.

I also have put him in the shower with me a few times.  I have one of those foam pads you use for bathing baby, and I just lay him on it, at the other end of the shower, so the water doesn't spray him.  I close the bathroom door, so I make sure it stays warm enough for him.

Our shower is flat and pretty large, this probably would not work if you have a tub/shower combo.

You can also put her in an exersaucer in the bathroom, if you have one.  Our excersaucer is downstairs, so I don't bring it up.  But I would if I really wanted to take a shower!

    Good Luck!

  2. after i make dinner and clean up i give him to daddy to feed him his nighttime bottle and then go take a shower then. and by the time i'm done he's relaxed and possibly sleeping and put him to bed and have a little relaxing time.

or you can just get up a little before your baby, if you're willing to.
