  1. DON'T BURN IT, at least not yet. One day, long after your gone, it will be great for your posterity to learn from.

If I were you, I would transfer it over to Pyxlin.com and then have it published after you die. Pyxlin is a place for you to keep your journal more private anyway.

  2. Why did you post this question on gambling? Anyway, I keep mine so I can go back and see how I thought when I was young, even though I kept a journal, not a secret diary. I like to see how my handwriting has changed over the years, and I like reliving some of the moments that I have written down.

  3. How good are you at hiding? Thats the most important question :). If you reckon you're pretty good then... why not? Its nice to think you've kept a hold of something so precious and cute. To burn it wouldn't be too brilliant for your well being; I think I'd find it rather depressing to have done so. Also, remember your memory will get wary the older you get. The older you get, the more you'll reminise about your childhood as well. So I think keeping a diary such as that, hiding will really pay off as you get older and you'll be glad you kept it. Remember, you can always burn it but you can never never get it back once you've done so!

If you need further convincing; your secrets when young will probably appear petty and un-stirring to others as you get older. What you may feel very embarassed about now could easily be something you'd laugh upon in conversation and openly talk about when you're older. So the danger of someone finding it will diminish the older you get.

So, If you want to go for the hidey option, you could hollow out a large boring hardback book that noone would ever think of reading, and put it inside there. I guess it depends how small your diary is. And oh.. using a knife to do so neatly is tough work - I've done it myself. You know when you see people keeping guns in books in films? Yeah like that. A couple hours work if you want to keep the edges neat, But its ridiculously effective at hiding things.

Good luck in your decision :)

  4. I keep mine hidden :]

beneath my last draw of my cabinet.. so have to take out the bottom draw to find it and so no one will know to look there

dont throw it out.. in the future you will look back on it and remember times and memories you had forgotten :]

    keep it and hide it!

  5. burn it and keep the secrets in you heart.

  6. I kept all mine in a locked up chest. Years later it's fun to see how I was when I was a teen.
