  1. You are going to have to get her used to having solid food in her mouth... She is way old enough, if she wont, then add little chuncks of friut to her food, she will eat it, you ar ethe parent, dont give in and let her be picky.  You can also give her cheerios when you know she is hungry, I am suggesting little non-messy snacks as I am guessing you want to keep her occupied as well. let her play with them and put them in her mouth, she will seem to choke at first, but this is how she will learn. Try gerber puffs and those gerber cheeto things, they disolve right away. Otherwise you will have to stop often on the way to feed, or sit in the back with her. these are awesome for traveling as well

  3. you could always stop the car for a minute so your child can eat. a happy baby is better than getting there quickly.

  4. "right now she drinks formula, juice, water and only eats gerber 2nd foods she refuses to eat anything else."

If that's all she eats, that's all she eats; that's not going to change just because you are in a car.

  5. Bananas, applesauce.

  6. Jars of gerber food are easy to pack.  You could also pack small bottles of juice and powdered formula. (Mix the formula as needed.)

  7. take her regular food with you. I assuem you can arrange to stop at a rest stop so you can spoon fee her. that is what I did when my son was 10 months old and we made a 12 hour trip. As for snacks...take gerber graduates stuff that won't be messy. pack a small cooler for her milk and juice
