  1. This isn't all that unusual.

What you need is food that is as close to what a cat would eat on its own - namely a mouse.

Since feeding mice isn't usually an option, this means that you either need to feed raw meat or select a commercially available grainless canned food.

Since most cats are sensitive to grains, I suspect that if you switch to a canned grainless food she'll improve immensely.  But if it seems likely she's sensitive to poultry then you'll need to find a food with a novel protein source, such as venison, lamb, beef, duck, etc.

Choose any food from this list:  What to feed:

  2. tuna fish they love it and it isnt cat food

  3. humans

  4. Awww poor kitty. :-( Have you asked the vet? Maybe try a raw diet, you know, raw meat? I'd ask the vet or someone at the pet store about that though so you know what to feed him. I've heard you shouldn't feed a cat fish too much, I think because of the mercury.

My cat eats Life's Abundance, and he looooves it (so does the dog, and the raccoons...). He hasn't got allergies, that i know of, but maybe you'd want to try it? It's a high quality food, and you can order a small sample from the website:

    Good luck!

  5. you can feed it some fish or smething.

  6. You need to feed him human food. Give him milk and water to drink, give him cooked fish such as sardines, tuna even a bit of salmon. You can give him bits of chicken and meat that is cooked. Ensure there is no bone in the foods you give him and ensure that it is soft enough for him. I also suggest before following my above advice that it is safer to consult your vet, explain to him the problem and ask him which foods your cat can eat and which foods he shouldn't eat.

  7. Try Royal Canin or Pro Plan's food for sensitive cats.

  8. How was she diagnosed, and by who?  If what your saying is that her food isn't agreeing with her, then that's a whole different story.  If your vet has prescribed alternative foods (different protein sources, different grains) then you need to stick with that until it's been determined just what she's allergic to.

If you're feeding foods high in corn and by-products, she's reacting to that.   Cats cannot digest corn and many of them have stomachs that cannot handle the goodness-knows-what of by-products.  Try feeding her a premium food that has chicken only as a protein source, and no grains.  Innova's EVO is well tolerated even by cats with severe stomach disorders (like IBD) as is California Natural.
