What do you feed a lizard?

Im about to catch a lizard with my insulting friend and I was just wondering what you feed it. ps. Ive had bad experiences with pets. so dont give me a wrong answere please.

they mainly eat kcrickets(never get spiders,they're gross)

the answers below me are correct. but they also like flys, and insects of sorts, and make sure to stick some grass in there for it to!

depends on the type of lizard.some eat bugs.some eat fruit.....

Any insect that'll fit in their mouth they would eat, bait store and pet stores usually keep crickets in stock so try those out first.
