  1. I love them, they are soo cute!

I have two, and they are really easy to care for. like someone else said, you can feed them sweet grain and hay from tractor supply co. or your local feedmill. oh and sometimes they like to live with other goats or chcikens or something, especially if you only get one...it will be too lonely by itself. they really dont need too much room, probably 10-15 sq ft per goat, but most do less. they need a small shelter filled with hay to prtect from the cold and the heat. they should be fed in the morning and at night (small portions) and they should always have a clean and full bucket of water(be away if you have pygmy kids to get a smaller bucket so they dont fall in and drown=[[) for healthy "treats " they love finely diced apples mixed with grain, and broken-up non salted pretzels. they will most likely shed a little at the beginning of summer, but they just need to be brushed maybe once a day or every other day...and that will probably be around june-ish, depending on heat...well i hope i helped!! oh ...and they do need hings to play with! we bult a wooden bench, but you can have large rocks( no spaces to catch feet though) or hay bales.

  2. Feed them goat feed, and/or sweet feed. They also will eat grass. They need a good size area, about 150ft all around would be good, depending on how many you are going to get. They also need things to climb on (hay bales, tires) Anything tall will do. They like to play king of the mountain. If you are going to mix genders, the females can have babies about every 5 months (if I'm correct) so your goat population might skyrocket! Don't feed them too much sweet feed though or else everytime they see you, they will start to cry and think you are going to feed them!

  3. You can feed them sweet feed. They need a decent-sized pasture and a shelter or barn for protection from sun, wind, snow (if you live in a cold climate), etc. They need their hooves trimmed about every month, and they also need wormed frequently. Google "pygmy goat care" and see what comes up.

    Hope I helped!
