What do you feed pond frogs?

My brother found some frogs at our pond. He has them in a fish tank and doesn't know what to feed them. Help!!

  1. i think if you put them back at the pond theyl find their own food...doubt being in a fish tank is good for them prob best where they were to be honest


  2. pond frogs will eat water beetles and those really small minnows you can find in that same pond.  Not only that but you can feed them the domestic frog food according to frog type.  Just ask an employee at your local pet store and ask them to show you which food to buy.

  3. Boil cabbage or lettuce,insects,and weeds around the pond.

    they might still eat algae.

  5. live blood worms are usually good. they are sold at the pet store. go there for additional info.

  6. Frogs generally eat any living, moving creature that can fit in their mouths. For most species, this means insects.

    They do not eat lettuce or weeds.

    They also do not eat "domestic" frog food, because there is no such thing. There's no such thing as domestic frogs, either. (Nick, just because you don't know the answer doesn't mean you should just make something up.)

    The frogs have their best chance at survival in the wild. You should release them where you found them.
