  1. You'll have to bring stuff from home.  I did this with my son for a while, bringing little tupperware dishes to restaurants and everything, and a couple of times an employee would tell me I can't bring food in and then I just tell them he's on a special diet, which he was.... as he got older and I had another baby I just started letting him eat regular food when we go out to eat.  I have some organic suckers that I save for special occasions like a carnival or something.

  2. One meal of non-organic food every so often is not going to make a difference.

It's up to you how important this diet is for your family.  If it's the end all of everything, then you're going to run into some hassles in life.  Or you can make it important in the food you purchase for home, but not worry too much when you go out.

  3. If a lot of places don't have organic food, then obviously you can't go there right?  Problem solved - don't go out to dinner or pack her something different.  Do you eat organic food? What do you eat? Whatever you eat, you feed to her.

  4. Pack something for her. A lot of the time I don't want Lola to eat out at places like carnivals because of the grease so I pack her Gerber Graduates and cheerios that I can feed her.

  5. Eat beforehand.

Pack snacks if they are allowed.

Or, be flexible & allow unhealthy treats from time to time.

My son is allergic to cow's milk.  We often have to deal with him going to places where there is no safe food.  You learn to plan ahead.  And, you help your child to learn that there are times when they just don't get to have the food that everyone else is having.  In our case, it's for his immediate, physical safety, though - no allowance for being flexible.

  6. If you want to stick to a STRICT organic meal plan then you will probably have to pack a lunch for her at places like the carnival and you'll have to find organic restuarants to take her out to eat.   For my family, I give them organic as much as possible but I make exceptions like when we go to the carnival or when we go out to eat.   If the restaurant has organic available then I get that, but if they don't I let it go.I try not to obsess over every meal being organic, just the vast majority of them.  That way it reduces my stress and it doesn't make my family feel like they are really being restricted in their diet plans.

  7. Pack something along but don't forget to let her be a kid, too. They like burgers and corndogs and fries. Everything is okay in moderation..

  8. Fruits and vegetables provide a lot of vitamins and minerals to the body.

Some fruit spreads and sandwich may help. But once again, consuming lots of fruits and vegetables really helps.

  9. I just bring my sons food along in a little storage container. I make alot and freeze it in those little containers so I just thaw one out and warm it up where ever we are.
