What do you feel about folks who add $2000 worth of Rims to their Economy Sub-compacts?

Or folks who allow missing Rims on their Luxury cars??

  1. If they actually upgrade the suspension (lowered/better springs and shocks/struts), new wheels and tires will make the car handle better. To some people, that's got higher priority than building up the drivetrain.

    most full sets of wheels/tires still only go for $600-$1000 for small to mid sized cars

    Also: they're the easiest thing to steal from other cars.  Maybe their cousin in the hood got them a set for an 18-pack of Tecate.


  2. First they do NOTHING to help the car handle or ride better, they tell them selves that. I think it is stupid. Most of the stuff I see these tuners do it a car went 200mph they might do some good. They are for looks only and the driver thinks it makes his car super and then they wipe their bodies off of the street. it also makes them look like they were made by MATTEL

  3. What about the ghetto, Cadillacs and old boat cars? I feel their all about all show and no go. They've been sucked into pop culture and the latests fashion. Putting bigger wheels on a car then stock requires more power to turn the wheels.
