  1. Comprehensive solutions in the BEST reform plan right here:

QUALITY, ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE health care for all.

That means preventative care (physical with follow up). Real medication (no Medicare "donut holes" the really ill are ripped off again.) No bogus ridiculously low "caps" on needed medical procedures. No abuse of the ER. No paying for the silly with the sniffles to go to the doc for free. No more bankruptcies over medical bills. I want THIS plan that ends abuse of the taxpayer, takes the burden off employers, provides price transparency, and ends the rip-off of the US taxpayer at the hands of greedy insurance CEOs (which has been repeatedly documented).

Read the PDF, not the blurb, for the bulk of the plan. Book is searchable on Amazon.com

Cassandra Nathan's Save America, Save the World

Actual problems that are corrected include:

contract law is enforced--no more not paying legit claims and getting away with it

antitrust law is enforced--bring prices down substantially instead of letting huge insurers rip us off as they absolutely do (when we find more than half of all bankruptcies are over medical bills and 75% of those folks HAVE health insurance there is your prima facie case)

price transparency--NO legit reason people can't know costs up front AND that would increase competition

need for MANY more doctors and nurses and we should be educating them HERE instead of stealing from even poorer countries

The Nathan plan addresses all of that and much more and is practically bullet proof against graft and abuse.

  2. Government & Politicians.

The government always thinks it has the answer to what they see as a problem. Universal healthcare is the WORST possible solution to what is not the horrible problem democrats are saying it is. Think about how the government has handled Social Security. Do you really want the government making decisions about YOUR health????

  3. Lack of individual responsibility, and lack of financial knowledge.  People don't WANT to know about how insurance works, they don't WANT to take any time to learn "the system", but then they cry out for help when their own ignorance comes back to bite them in the rear.

People want to save the $200 a month when they're healthy, and then can't understand why, when they develop a condition, no one wants to insure them (you have to buy the policy BEFORE you get sick!).

People want to live unhealthy lifestyles, and let doctors and medicine "fix" their problems (ex:  smokers refuse to quit, and obese people would rather have lapband surgery than diet and excercise).

Bottom line - it's about being responsible, to educate yourself, and to take care of yourself.

The US health care system - and insurance system - isn't perfect, but it IS the best in the world.   It's self sufficient (except for welfare health insurance), and everyone in the world who can afford it, comes HERE for their cutting edge treatments.
