is it idiotic?in which nation does suicide attempts are high?

boys or girls who attempts this high and what is the top five reasons for committing suicides..what do u think of them?

I think that, more often than not, when a person commits suicide it shows that help isn't getting to the people who need it most.

I don't think it's idiotic, i think it can be seen as an example of the hypocrisy of the developed world.

edit; You could say that i feel that those who commit suicide are more intelligent than they give themselves credit for.

    It definitely is not a solution to a problem. I think people commit suicide easier if their environment consists of people who commited suicide or if they knew people who knew suicide. I am very much against it but I won't say it is idiotic. I believe that "No one has the right to condemn you on how you repair your heart, because no one knows how much your hurting." (I think it's from grey's anatomy.) But it's true.

    I thought about suicide a lot of times when I was depressed, but I knew I could never do it. I didn't have the courage(I understood then that suicide takes a lot), I feared God, and I couldn't bear the thought of how much my family was going to blame themselves. For the last year, 6 students commited suicide, most of them because of problem with studies and financial support for their studies. We can't really judge them. I can't say it's idiotic. Specially if we are fortunate in terms of family, financial status and relationships. We should consider their situations and factors affecting their suicide. But I really believe that one should never do it. It is a selfish act though, because people who commit suicide didn't care about how their family would feel, how the family would blame themselves, If a person knew that he is the cause, then suicide would become revenge. The person commits suicide to stop their pain, without caring how much pain it's going to cause their loved ones. People who think about suicide often should definitely get professional help or talk to someone.

Suicide is a permnent solution to a temporary problem.  Most people who commit suicide are suffering from mental disorder.  Very often it is untreated depression or bi polar disorder.

I can't answer any of your first questions except for the last one, In my opinion I feel very sorry for them,I don't mean I pitty them I mean I feel sorry for them in a heart felt way, to commit suicide you have to be extremely upset and depressed, depression is a very strong emotion which stops you from thinking clearly, before someone resorts to this they usually are screaming for help in the sense of there mood changes and the way they interact with others.

i wouldn't do it. i just don't want it all to end. even if i have moments when it seems my life is sad or going bad or whatever.

i guess people ave various reasons for doing this. when they feel lost and confused in life, very sad about something - maybe for failing out of school, or being dumpted by a lover, or for having lost someone. i don't know what else. but it's an extreme solution that doesn't give you any way out.

i think its a desperate act when all hope seems lost to that person, it isn't always a cry for attention and it really gets to me that ppl think so. also anyone who says that its idiotic etc etc really does need a beating as that just makes suicidal ppl feel worse. they know what they're doing isn't right but the pain is that immense it has to be done.

EDIT: so just because i didn't succeed it was a cry for attention. go f*ck yourself, you obviously have no idea what-so-ever what you are talking about

i cant really answer your question but i was once suicidal, I hated everything about me and my life but then i though, if i killed myself i would make my mums life so misurable and i couldnt do that to her so i pushed through it and now i still hate myself but i dont want to kill myself over it.
