What do you get a friend who is filthy rich for their birthday?

This girl is crazy rich. I'm talking Tiffany's and iPods for other people's birthdays. She invited me to a dinner at an expensive Japanese restaurant and movies at the mall along with 20 other people and she's paying. The problem is I'm not rich and I have no idea what to get her. Giftcards.. she'll know what I spent. I cant think of anything sentimental to get her since I've only known her 3 months. She's not girly but she's really into shoes.. but they're like guy's shoes. Like Nike SB's and stuff. The thing is my birthday's a week after hers and i just KNOW she's going to get me something expensive even though I'm begging her to not get me anything. I don't know what to get her since her present is obviously going to make mine look pathetic. She probably doesn't care and won't judge me, but I still want to think of a good present or else I'd feel bad myself. Any suggestions?

since she has everything she could ask for.there is not much more she could seem to need really.just time with a friend she seeming to buy.she sounds like she likes company more then a gift.so maybe a day with a picnic at the beach while it is hot, then a movie later ending it with a cake for her.simple things she most likely would like.you would be surprised of how simple things could make someone feel  inside.as well the things made by your own hand.

part  of  the  enjoyment  of  having  is  sharing.  the  best  thing  you  can  do  is  just  be  the  best  friend  you  can  be. she  may  not  have  too many  of  those  since  she loves  to  give away  stuff,  shes  probably  surrounded  by  moochers. ask  her  if  you  wouldnt  mind  making her  gift  to  you  a  contributon  to  a  charity in  your  name.

that  will  let  her  know  you  really  dont  want  anything and  are  not  just  saying  that.  then  you  can  go  and  get  her something  reasobly  priced  that  tells  her  something  about  you  like  a fave cd of  some   that  you  would like  to introduce  her  to

I think perhaps you could make her something yourself.

If you are really good at painting, paint her a canvas!

You can go to Linens & Things and buy a beautiful bedroom wall decoration also, they have a lot of cute little things that she can hang in her room and they look amazing, totally not cheap-looking.

You can buy a bracelet online for cheap, some of them also don't look inexpensive so you can totally "fake it" (bad term, but you know what I mean aha)

This would be pretty:

I'm not sure of a store, but there are these little marble swans (or any animal) that you can just put on your desk. They are fragile and elegant, totally beautiful. Can be up to $20 I think for a small figure, but worth it.

Maybe just an adorible tote bag?

Or you can go to Ulta or Sephoria and buy a cute hand purse/clutch and fill it with maybe 3 different eye liners (take advantage of sales!)

Or buy a perfume. Small. Very much loved. And not cheap. Buy the cheapest one you can find though. Perfumes get expensive, so just get whatever you can afford. She'll love it and won't know the price.

How about inviting her over for a home made dinner?  It could be that she eats out a lot and might enjoy dinner at your home.  Then watch movies or play games or make something together.

Is there something you like to make or do?  Like paint her a picture or make a recording of you playing some of her favorite songs...give her something that's from the heart, that you made especially for her...

Or how about a donation to her favorite charity --

Just remember that the giving of gifts isn't a contest to see who can give the most expensive thing.  You can only live within your means.  I think some nice flowers would be very appropriate here.

get her like a bag of her favorite candy in a cute flower vase with her favorite kind of fake flower in it so that its like the fase with the foam then the one flower and then the candy ontop of the foam and then like hang the candy from the flower.. it will look cool and its creative.. she wont know how muchyou spent or get anything like it =]

If I can't figure out what to get someone, I buy a gift basket. It's fail-safe. There will be stuff she will appreciate as small tokens. Another trick I like to use is buy DVD sets of TV shows she hasn't seen but might like.
