  1. To answer your question the best about free smoothies you would need to specify which cruise line you'd like to go on.  Different ships offer different amenities at no cost.

A lot of ships probably would NOT offer free smoothies.

Technically nothing is 'free' on a cruise.  It is included in your total price.  But that aside, you do not have to worry about your meals, they are there for you.  Most ships should have free 24 hour room service.  There should also be breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main dining room if you want to be formal.

Otherwise there should be a buffet type service on the upper deck area with a more informal type of dining experience.

Pop and tea should be free during your meals in the dining room, but anywhere else you will be charged.  Some cruise lines do offer Pop/Soda Packages where you pay a certain fee and you get all you can drink pop the rest of the trip.

You also get your room cleaned daily and your bed turned down nightly.  And you also receive free entertainment all over the ship from nightly lounge acts to people performing in many different venues through out the ship.

  2. you basically get everything free on a cruise but things such as the internet, soft drink such as Sodas, alcholic beverages and things such as Pina Colada, and other iced drinks. but here is a word of advise do not tamper with anything in the room there is a charge behind every food item in your room.

  3. The meals are free, but when you look at what you paid for the cruise it pretty much evens out. Alcohol and souvenirs cost money, and most lines carge you to use the internet onboard.

  4. yes

  5. Nothing on a cruise is free. You have paid for it all.

I would think most lines charge extra for smoothies.

    Have fun.

  6. FOOD!!!!! Food, shows, entertainment, mini-golf, basketball, rockwall climbing, kids clubs, luxery, caterism,

you do have to pay for alcohol, bingo, gambling, all the extras.

  7. we went on a cruise this fall. nothing was for free. in fact, everything that was not included in the fare was extremely over priced.

fare included: meals (You have to pay for alcohol and pop)

                           activities (ship board)

                           room service (food was terrible)

transportation to the ports and back

one restaurant had a cover charge and specialty coffee was extra. laundry service was outrageous. make sure you don't forget anything. the ship stores are real price gougers.

  8. Depending on the cruise line, different things are free.  (I will use NCL for an example)

Most of the restaurants are free, water, milk, iced tea, hot chocolate, and coffee is free, room service is free, games, and theater shows.  I think that's it, but everything else is well priced so it doesn't seem like you're being taken on a ride (except for soda and alcoholic drinks).

  9. On the cruise line we are taking, Norwegian Cruise Line, you get iced tea, hot tea, coffee and water free, but not alcohol, soda, specialty coffee drinks or smoothies.

Other things included in the fare are: accommodations (of course), meals in the main restaurants, use of pools & hot tubs, and entertainment.

Optional expenses would be dining in specialty restaurants, excursions at the destinations, and gambling.

I included a link to a great site where you can get more information on cruising.

  10. It depends on the line.  On most mass market ships, your food is free, your drinks are not.  On Seabourn and Silversea, you pay for nothing except, for example, premium wine at dinner, or premium spirits in your suite.  The cost of the cruise is, of course, more, but it also includes tips.  You also pay for laundry, unless you're in a suite, and shore excursions...but that's so for any ship.  Seabourn does have a complimentary shore excursion, usually, on each sailing.

  11. Some food - there may be restaurants that are an additional charge.

Some Drinks - Specialty drinks (mochas, lattes), Alcohol, and soda is not free.

Entertainment - Shows, movies, and most activites are free.  Some things like wine tastings and other activites may have a fee.

Others - There is usally free ice cream, food, and entertainment available at all times.

  12. Food, and lots of it.  Shows are free.  I order my espresso in the dining room, and it is free there.

  13. believes smoothies would be free..I think you only pay for alcohol and souvenirs, not including the towels you may bring home..lol

  14. It really depends on the cruise line.

On most ships dinner is free unless you prefer to go for a-la carte (if offered onboard). Alcohol is usually not free, coffee/ tea/ water are usually free during meal times.

I have been working on one ship where they offered free pizza slices... like I said, it really depends on the cruise line.
