  2. A plaque and notoriety. Nothing else. Did you watch Big and Rob when they broke all those records? They got a box full of plaques.

    Oh and your name in the Guinness book

  3. You get recognition--lots of attention from your home town paper, your name in the next edition of the book, and 15 minutes of fame if the record is amazing enough--like tallest person, oldest person....or something similar.
