What do you get someone for their birthday when they never remember yours?

I have a $20 limit on the gift per person. It is for my mother in law/father in law. They made it a point to keep talking about their birthdays the last time we talked. I'm kind of hurt that they didn't remember mine (and haven't in the past) and I know if I don't do anything for theirs that I'll be the "bad person". So what should I get them? Thanks in advance for the answers.

A calendar with your birthday written in!

That or one of those address books with the pages for special dates. You could write in your wedding anniversary, and other family members' stuff too so it doesn't look so obvious.

Or Flowers!

Its not that if someone remembers my BD. i should get a gift for them.. i will take a gift even if they dont remember. even if they know.

A SMALL PIECE OF MIRROW (RECTANGULAR AND THICK ENOUGH) WILL BE GOOD ALSO.

THE GIFT CAN BE ANY THING BUT THERE SHOULD BE THE FEELING WHEN YOU BUY AND PRESENT IT.

i would say get them what they get you.. BUT due to who it is and you cant look bad cuz yea then its a problem later. um.. 20 bucks.. get them.. a plant? or tickets to see a movie..? or.. a gas card. everyone needs gas! lol um.. let me think something they both like.. get them a book they would like.. or a picture frame with a cute pic of their kid.. or... ummm ummm... 2 stuffed animals to represent each person? umm yea idk wha to get old ppl neither.. lol
