Well, I can say my daughter got the following:

a.

Harassed by a boy about 4 years older then her(she was in 6th grade) who had been held back. (we had to threaten to get the cops involved before any action was taken).

b. In the problem above, after they did take action they decided some of it must have been my daughter fault. They pulled my daughter aside with the problem kid and asked what was going on.

I realized in 7th grade that my daughter didn't know how to tell time on a regular clock. This AFTER she got all the way through "school" with A's and B's. I asked her why her teachers didn't help, she said "they said I would just catch on." That is just one example of the holes in her education she had.

At home she is doing great. She has tons of real friends, not superficial ones, and is involved with some programs at the public school including some classes, sports and clubs. We use the public school as a tool to add to her education, not as a subculture that is allowed to influence and brainwash our kids.
