  1. a true biker would never be caught dead on a scooter its just not considered a motorcycle in the bike world

  2. Roketa has a cult following in Asia but not so much in America. Honda and Vespas seem to be the most popular scooters in the States. Americans are savvy buyers so we typically buy items that are well built.

  3. I think its immoral to buy from the Chinese when there are alternatives.

  4. I guess I missed the part of your question where you asked if you were a "true biker." Since the others seemed to have picked up on that somewhere I will work on Roketa part.

I am guessing your bought a "drop ship" scooter. That will mean the PDI is on you. Change the fluids before riding it and go through and tighten everything down.

I am not sure but I would guess it has the standard Chinese GY6 engine. That will mean parts will be pretty easy to get if you need them.

It is a cool looking scooter, enjoy it!

  5. i've heard both good and bad things about rocketa... when someone's thinking of buying a chinese bike it's usually one of the brands i reccomend, as parts for it are easy to obtain...

rocketa probably has more parts out there for it's bikes then any other chinese company

"a true biker would never be caught dead on a scooter its just not considered a motorcycle in the bike world"

roketa makes everything from scooters to crotch rockets, cruisers, four wheelers and dirt bikes..... both full sized and pit bikes/kid bikes.

just cuz someone's riding around on a roketa doesn't mean it's a scooter.... that'd be like assuming everyone on a yamaha rides a scooter because yamaha makes them as well....
