I am writing a graduation speech for my graduation tomorrow. Our class quote is "If an opportunity doesn't knock, build a door." My speech is titled "Knock, Knock. What's there?" Now, I'm struggling about what to say! So, what do you guys think about the doors of life. Like, I don't know. It's really such an open question. I just need a lot of suggestions and help!

  1. There is a famous quote "When one door closes another door opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us"

    Alexander Graham Bell (1847 - 1922)

To me this means that all we have to do is look for another door, and step through it and take on the new challenges, that this door may offer. If I had not stepped through one such door, after another had closed on me, I would not have the jobs I have today.

  2. There's a quote from 'The Sound of Music' which saids "when God closes a door somewhere he opens a window"

You could try talking about how to build those doors and what opportunities they may present.

Another thing I've found about the 'doors of life' is that sometimes the ones you get forced to open are the best ones. I figured out the right road I to go down for me when I was forced to open a door.
