What do you guys think about Joe Biden's negative comments about Obama?

If you guys have not heard already Biden said twice that Obama was not ready to be president. We know that Barrack chose him because of his experience and foreign policy knowledge but is it worth nominating someone who has said things that could possibly hurt your campain?

Biden's comments about Obama were tame compared to the utter garbage that Shrub's 2000 campaign threw at McCain.  Politics is a dirty, nasty business, but after the election is over, the former candidates will play nice again.

If anything, this should convince Biden of Obama's willingness to listen.  Biden said Obama wasn't ready, I'm sure that before picking Biden Obama spoke with him about what he would need to do in order to be ready.  I like the answer above that mentioned would you prefer a president who has a bunch of yes men, like this president, or would you prefer somebody who is open to criticism in order to find out how to be a better leader?  Personally, I want somebody who is willing to make the necessary changes to himself to be a better leader.  That's Obama.  No matter what his middle name is!

It proves that Biden is smart and a good judge of character. I don't know why Biden decided to take a step down to VP. Being a powerful US senator sounds like a much better job to me than sitting around praying for the president to die!
