  1. Well I don't really think teens should have babies, but unfortunately it happens, and I guess as parents we have to try and show them that they have to try and stay kids as long as they can, before becoming parents so soon. That's what I think.

  2. well i was one of them...& that doesnt mean im a hoe like one of the girls answered. im 16 and i have a one year old child and im doing so great. i manage to go to school.. in faCT ima finish school one year earlier. i go to work and i still manage to spend some time with my little girl..people judge teenage moms by calling them s***s  or HOES..but my life is working out so well...in the school im in.its only pregnant teen moms..and there the most amazing outstanding people ive ever seen. im not saying its right but im just saying that people tend to judge a book by its cover

  3. well i think that it is a downfall to thier future sort of like a prison record. a baby can eliminate teenager college years, a career and turn it to a lifetimes' work at Mcdonalds.  So think twice if you are a teenager and thinking about having s*x with out a condum. the next thing is STD's

  4. It's not a good idea because you are still young yourself. I am 29 and trying to have my first baby. I wanted in til I was older so that way I am able to take care of my child. You are just a child yourself so why would you want to have a baby. Wait in til you are older and wiser. Your children will appreciate it because you will be able to provide for them better.

  5. If it was a complete accident, that person must be going

through a lot and we have to help them. If on purpose or they

knew the risks of pregnancy, it would be stupid to have

    made that choice.

  6. it shouldnt happen. teen arent ready to have babies not matter how "responsible" they say they are. and also when they get pregnant they say they need support, but why? i mean its just gonna make it seem ok to get pregnant. when its not.

  7. I wrong and sad but it happens.  i think that they make a mistake, but are great bc they are taking responsibility (some of them) and deserves alot of credit for facing world alone.

  8. THEY ARE HUMANS TO!!! I LOVE ALL PEOPLE!!!! I DONT CONDEM THEM, I MAKE FRIEND SIWTH THEM AND SUPPORT THEM THROUGH THEIR HARDSHIP!!! STOP CONDEMING PREGNANT TEENS!!

  9. Well I was 17 when I got pregnant and 18 when I had my son.

Pregnant teens should not be stereotyped. Some pregnant teens are good parents, and some are bad parents. Just like parents of any age!

The main thing I think pregnant teens should realize is whether or not they can give their child everything they need.

I knew that my child would have a good life because his father is still in our life. He has a great job that pays for a very nice place to live, medical insurance and dental insurance for our son, all of our formula, diapers, toys, etc. Also, I am a sophomore in college studying nursing so once I graduate we will be able to afford a nice house rather than an apartment.

Many teen parents are not as lucky as me, and they need to be mature enough to make a good decision for their unborn child. If they can't put a decent roof over their heads, afford all of a newborns needs, and have insurance for their child, they should consider an abortion or adoption.

  10. I think that everybody makes mistakes, all anybody can do when they make a mistake is learn from it, try to fix it and grow from it in the process.  And when American society gets off their f*ckin high horse and stops being so f*cking judgmental like they are the virgin Mary or Jesus and have never done anything wrong in their lives, then we can actually strive to come up with new methods to prevent these issues in the future.  Nobody that answers this question has the right to call someone a hoe, s**t, or a destroyer of American society because they obviously aren't going to do anything to promote a decrease in teen pregnancy rates and its probably going to be their kids that end up being pregnant teens anyway.  Sure we all have our opinions but not all of them need to be voiced to make you feel better about yourself.  Somethings are better left unsaid.

  11. I think it's sad that kids feel like they have to have s*x when they are far too young to handle the consequences.  I feel sorry for them because that is a hard, hard thing to face for any teenager.  And, frankly, I get a little irritated that there are so many of them these days.

  12. If a teen is already pregnant, what good will judging them do? You can't go back in time and change the situation, so the best thing to do is be supportive.

  13. I think it's irresponsible. It's something that should be saved until marriage, when they are able to provide a better life for their kid.

  14. They are s******g America's future one by one. Like things aren't getting bad enough already.

  15. i think that any teen that is pregnant should put its baby up for adoption. terminating a pregnancy is wrong.

if a teen thinks they are grown up enough to have s*x, then why bail them out and give them an excuse to have more s*x? so if they think they are grown up enough to have s*x, then y not grown up enough to go through labor?

  16. ok here is what I think One if they think they are old enough to have s*x then they should be old enough to deal with the consequents that being said bring up number two if they are old enough to have s*x make sure to wear a condom or she be n birth control or both. It's not cross if you get pregnanct but it can be stupid since babies cost money I won;t sit here and letcuere but please if you wanna have baby so bad wait till you are married becasue most guys aren't ready to be a dad. I'm 25 so is my hubby and he still isn;t ready to be a dad even thoughI  really wanta baby then again we're married so if it were to happen we coudl deal with it.

  17. For me, its really annoying. A ton of the questions on here are like "im 14 and pregnant!" or "am i pregnant?". its just a pain because they are already ruining part of their childhood lives and their kids lives. I'm gonna wait until I'm married or at least engaged and finished with college b4 i get prego. although i do like the movie juno ;)

  18. I dont think you can really judge it by just saying TEEN pregnancy. Because so many teens get pregnant. And all of them have different stories. Some people grow up and take responsibility for what they did. And some dont. But Its not cool either way. Its stressful and hard to deal with. But I dont think that the baby's life will be screwed up....Unless there parens are the irresponsible ones..idk. Who am I to judge. I dont know every teen parent.

  19. I havent met any pregnant teens who were married to a guy who had a job a place of his own and car with a driver's license who married her and.

Most the time these girls end up either on welfare or shacking guy to guy making more kids who eventually become targets for their pedophile b/f's later on in life.

At age 13-17,no education, no car,no job no driver's license no established  credit and usually no husband, they usually end up on welfare when they are tired of being told what to do at home.

  20. It's sad as you just know that they've been pressured into something somewhere down the line. Whether it's the media telling them that s*x = love, their 'friends' reinforcing that view or those charming anti-choice campaigners (who can't take 2 minutes to think and distinguish between the physical act and the moral dilemma behind it and, if they were in her situation, sure as h**l wouldn't practice what they preach, go have a nice long read: http://mypage.direct.ca/w/writer/anti-ta... ) that desperately try and take away her rights

It's tragic but I have very little respect for anyone who can't go against all that and take a second to think for themselves

Hate to say it (well, I don't really) but I have yet to see a decent example of a child that's genuinely being raised well by parents that young, it just leads to the parents living vicariously through the child as they feel like they never had the choice to do it themselves and they don't have the maturity required to raise a decent human being. Does logic not dictate that if the parents **** up their education by breeding like crazy then the offspring are going to be even worse?

  21. I was a pregnant teen. I was 15 when I had my child, Jada Marie Rose, with my boyfriend, Gabriel (17). I’m now 19 and he is 22, Jada is 4 and we’re all so happy. Yeah, it was hard. It still is hard. But all parenting, no matter how old you are, is hard.

All I can say, from the point of view of someone who’s been there, is that no pregnant teen wants your sympathy. Keep it. It’s insulting.

And the only thing worse than being pregnant and a parent at such a young age is being looked at by people with disgust and sympathy at your position. People who don’t even ******* know you! I mean, what the h**l? Who are you to judge those of us who are in the position of having to care for another human being?

And by the way, back in the day, it was common practice for women to be married and have kids at the age of 16. So, it’s hardly sick at all.

I think the only thing that’s gross here is the attitude that people have towards pregnant teens. I mean honestly people, what the **** is the matter with you? You don’t even know them. You don’t know what kind of situation their in. You don’t know anything about them.

So, keep your sympathy and disgust to yourself because the last thing a new mother needs to someone telling her that she’s wrong for taking responsibility for her mistakes and keeping that child.

Some of you people really just make me sick. -.-

  22. The guy is a jack a*s for not wearing a condom. And then as the kid grows up,he will suffer a lot. Instead of a mother he will have a cousin or a sister, only 16 years apart. That is just not right and plain stupid.

    Just like this :

    Kissing is a habit

    Fuc**ng is a game

    Guys get all the pleasure

    Girls get all the pain

    10 minutes of pleasure

    9 months in pain

    A baby without a name

    The baby is a b*****d

    The mother is a w***e

    This never wouldn't have happened

If the rubber wouldn't have torn :)

  23. I think people forget about the teens who got the OTHER teen girls pregnant.

If girls are whores and s***s...so are guys.

  24. Some people look at them nasty but I am 17, my boyfriend is 15, and we are very good parents.  My boyfriend goes to work every day to provide for his family, and i stay home with my baby girl everyday to take care of her, she is our #1 priority 24/7 and would do anything and everything for her.   So really people shouldnt stereo type teen moms because it dont matter about the age it is the parent, just because ppl are young dont mean they are a bad parent, being older dont make you a better parent.

  25. it's her mom fault because she decide who is her daughter life. Loser or a great step dad.If the teen is by hear self she learned most of hear personality by here mother or adults in her life?

  26. Super sucky.

Teens don't think it'll happen to them

    but then it does.

    & they regret it.

The most anyone can do is sit back and hoep they learn their lesson.

If teachers & parents keep teaching their teens not to, I honestly don't think it'll make a difference. They'll get curious and just, you know?

Teens think having a kid is all rainbows and magical, but instead of telling them not to, I think we should educate them on all the things being a parent does.Like, waking up at 4 o'clock in the morning to feed or change your baby. Things like that.

  27. I personally think that pregnancy needs to be put off while young teenagers are having fun. I think that if you are in a good home life and do not have to rely on anyone taking care of you in any circumstance and you have a car and a good job and a good home to live in take care of a pet first and see how good you do then grow up to be responsible around 19- 30 and have a child then. Why throw away the future of doing the things that you like to do live a little and then raise a family.

  28. Ya know... I've always considered myself a hypocrit about this subject because even though i'm a teen parent. Sometimes I find myself being irritated by other pregnant teens.

I just don't get the newest fad of getting pregnant and joining TTC clubs ... in highschool. It's one thing to have a baby and genuinely take responsibility... it's another thing to have a baby so you can dress it in cute little clothes and collect money from the state to pay for it.

I really agree with J.J. I think my reaction to teen pregnancy depends on the age of the mom. Between 16-18 i'm more ok with it. At least they can go get a job and somewhat support the child.

Call me a hypocrit... oh well.

  29. There's nothing wrong with teen pregnancy, so longs the person can support their child emotionally and financial all is well. Teens are bound to have s*x, and most of them like adults don't plan to  get pregnant, so that's a common ground between most pregnant teens and adults. There's people 23+ who will get pregnant and still go out partying, while leaving their off spring withe their grandparents. most teens are more considerate when it's come to that because they're young and therefore more caring and loving than others ..basically they're more loving and considerate. The only thing pregnant adults have over pregnant teens SOMETIMES(because you still find some adults scamming the welfare system) is financial security. case and point.

Also why is it so wrong to be pregnant when you're 14-16 in todays society, when back in the 20's and what not young teenage girls use to get married to old *** men and have babies with them, with the parents consent! Did that make them hoes, whores, or parasites?

  30. I think it's their choice, but if they were gonna be s******g around like that, then they should've at least been a bit more careful.

  31. I think they made a stupid choice, but at least they are smart enough not to murder the baby (www.abort73.com)

I also think they should seriously consider adoption, and if not, take plenty of parenting classes
