I don't know honestly.  I do know that his choice for V.P. has energized his party like nothing I have ever seen.  I would have voted for him regardless but I think she is a brillian choice.  Couldn't have asked for a better pick!

Sarah Palin is the exact opposite of Hillary when it comes to family, spiritual, and moral values. She was a smart safe pick. Fresh and clean with no ties to Bush.   Mccain won't attract women supporters of Hillary with his VP choice. What he did was gather more support from evangelicals who will vote for him now that he has a strong Christian woman running beside him. This is a huge base of voters of all ages that will decide this election based on their faith.

Many Hillary voters were already leaning towards McCain before his pick. I think this only solidifies their choice and they will vote for McCain/Palin in droves...bye bye Obama...have fun at the loser meeting with Carter, Gore, and Kerry.

That's all anyone is talking about.  If nothing else, he took the post-convention bounce away from the Democrats.  He has thrown the opposition party into a tailspin, off their game, they hardly know how to respond.  Obama himself was so flustered, he said the pick represented "more of the same"!?!

Sarah Palin is anti-choice, even in the case of incest or rape. She has NEVER had ANY EXPERIENCE IN FOREIGN POLICY. We are in the middle of two different wars here?!?! Is that a smart move, McCain?

She won't even save the polar bears. This is NOT an energy friendly or even smart, policy. She doesn't believe that humans are responsible for global warming and she is FOR OFF SHORE DRILLING. What about using solar or wind power? It's free, it's abundant and we already have the technology to make this happen!

But no. Her husband works at BP Oil. Of course she wants off-shore drilling, it helps her and her best interests (not to mention her family's interest). Oil prices make the poor poorer and the wealthy invested in oil, even wealthier. Cars don't need to run on OIL!

McCain only met with Palin once before she was picked as his VP. Is seems very transparent that he needs someone young and needs a FEMALE to make himself look better.

He won't get Hillary supporters.

He'll get voters who see that McCain and Palin together have more experience than Obama and Biden, and who would like to see, since as much as possible is already equal though goals are different, an end to the glass ceiling that Hillary would have broken but now can't.

Besides, any Hillary supporter is going to vote McCain for one reason:

1) If Obama wins, she has to wait eight years to run.

2) If McCain wins, she has to wait four years to run.

Seems simple.
