What do you guys think of floyd mayweather vs evandor holyfield?

A talented light heavyweight I will grant with todays c**p heavies but light and welter weights are just too small.

Not just regarding power. The big problem is they give away a lot in height and reach to a heavyweight, and also stride length, which is how fast either division covers the ring when defending or attacking.

You see it when the lightweights spar heavyweights in the gym, they have trouble at all ranges, even backpedalling.

A division with a foot less reach just has too much problem getting in and out in time...

and if they can't outbox them, what else is left.

I think if the rules allowed floyd to jab and then literally run around and around avoiding 90% the action, he might do it.

But it wouldn't be much of a match to watch.

That would be a good asss fight but but even though I  go for Floyd MAyweather I do think that he will get either knocked down at least 2 times or even knocked out

Fantasy match up. Hate to spoil it to you chief, whilst the individuals in pro wrestling do perform magnificent feats of athletic endeavour, it is scripted. Back to Holy vs Floyd, I'd give it Floyd based on sheer skill levels and accomplishments.

Not that great of a match.... Holyfield is shot. In his prime Holyfield is too big and strong. now Mayweather would win.

There is simply no reason for that match at this point. Holyfield SHOULD retire.

I'd say it wouldn't be that good. Holyfield could just stand there and take his punches all night!!! It would be a boring fight cos Mayweather would know he wouldn't be able to knock Holyfieldout so he would just dance around the ring for 12 rounds like he did against De La Hoya!!

Evander Holyfield is too old to box. He is punched out. Fighting Maywether now would not be real judge of his talents, he is beyond his peak.

But if they could both fight each other at their peak, Holyfield would kick ***.

Considering the talent level of today's top heavyweights, Floyd is a legitimate threat to become the first welterweight champion to win a heavyweight title.  Sad the shape the heavyweight division is in.
