  1. Looks good! Yeah, maybe relax a little, especially in your arms and shoulders. Maybe think of following him a little bit more, but looks great!

  2. you guys look great!!!!! :)

  3. Look real good.

    Nice posture.

Your working with eachother not against, always a plus.

  4. I didn't watch your whole video, but I watched about the first minute and a half. I thought from what I did watch, you looked very good, only I think that you are leaning forward a little too much. Sit back just a little, and you will look very very good. But other that that nothing else really stuck out to me. Good luck with your riding career and keep up the good work.

  5. Y'all look good together.

My only thingis that you look weak in the saddle. Not sure were it is comming from or if just Im seeing things. The trot looked a little stronger than the canter but both fail to give me the impression that you were really secure. I would work without stirrups for awhile and see if anything looks better. Even if you feel secure in the saddle I would start doing no sturrip work or stepping up what you are doing. It will only make you better.

You have been taught good equitation and ride Remmy well so I think you will go far with him.

My only thing with him is that he holds his head high when jumping then goes behind the bit at the halt. I would be watchful that neither get to out of hand. I am guessing you are doing lower level hunters where a horse that is behind the bit at the halt can still place well.

The raised head might move you both out of the ribbons though. Once you get use to him, I would talk to your trainer about working on both.

    Nice job though.

  6. Great! Just try not to tip forward when you approach the jump :D

  7. You look really good! My only comment is to sit up and wait for the jump! I had to do the same thing and i am doing a lot better now!

  8. Very good for your second time riding him! He's gorgeous btw- reminds me so much of my old thoroughbred. I would think you're tipping a bit too far forward when riding. 'Shoulders back' the infamous words from my old riding school! You really seemed to relax after a while and get into the rythm and you guys looked like a great pair! Very good rider though! And lovely horse!! Brought tears to my eyes to see a horse so similar to my old boy. I think he is your own horse and if so congrats! =]

  9. it looks pretty good, but just lean back more (but still keep your legs behind the girth) and just enjoy it! you have got a fabulous horse but you seem really tense and nervous! just go for it and have fun!

    good luck!

  10. you guys look great together :)

the only thing id work on is keeping your heels down more

heels down is the center of all riding

ps. your horse is amazingly gorgeous

  11. Overall you two look nice together.  I noticed a lot of tail switching from him.  Some horses just go like that other doit because of an issue.

I also noticed that your toes are turned out a litle and should be pointed forward.  Your lower back also has a dip in it where it makes it look like your butt is sticking out a bit.  Do you notice some lower back pain when you're done riding?  I do, cause I have that same tendency!!  My instructor always reminds me to use my core muscles rather than my back.

Another thing I observed is when your jumping..I noticed that you don't slide your arms to release his head then, on landing, he seems to open his mouth and run into the bit and then you get left behind a little.  I read in someone elses post that this is only your second time riding him..so perhaps this is because you are unsure of him.  But try not use use your hands for balancing.

I wish you continued success !!  Nice job!!

  12. look good to me

  13. you look awesome.

but tuck your butt under so its not sticking out to much

and that will straighten your back, so your not leaning forward so much.

    otherwise your an awesome rider(:

  14. Look'in good.

If I had to pick on anything, I might say you look like your posturing a little to much. But, I don't ride English anymore, so I could be totally wrong.

  15. sit up, shoulders back! Remember to wait for the jump to come to you, you're leaning forward quite a bit and then tipping before the fence.

I can't really see in this video but it looks like your leg could be a bit too far forward. Remember - head, shoulder, hip, heel, they should all be in line, but i think this could be fixed eaisily if you sat up straighter and put you bum underneath you more.

Other than that you two look like a great pair!

  16. He is a beautiful horse. You look great on that jumping photo. And you to look like a good pair.

I would have to say though your posture. You look a little tense and nervous. Its riding loosen up and have fun!

But keep your shoulders back more, and same with your whole body. This takes balance. They way i learned how to keep my balance doing it was riding bareback all the time. Also i have always had a good posture. lol

But you two look awesome! Good job and keep up the good work! I cant wait to learn to jump like that!

He seems to listen to you very well. So good job on that. I would also say let him have some slack on the riens. But many people like the horses head back and high. I for one like it loose, and have them move on how they feel they are comfortable. But thats just me. lol

    AWESOME RIDING!
