What do you guys(and girls) think? ?

We dated for 2 months and he broke it off last week, saying that he wants to be alone for a while to focus on his photography. I asked if he thought we would get back together one day and he said yes. Do you think I should believe that, and in the meantime just move on with my life for a few months?

Well, he wants to focus on photography.  So he is wanting his space.  You should date other guys.  Even if he expects you 2 to get back together in the future, why should you wait for him to become ready?  You shouldn't.  Date around, and if it's supposed to be, then you and him will get together again later on.  Good luck.

give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he is really telling the truth.but you know my honest opinion is, photography is a lame excuse.maybe you can talk to him again since he said that there is a chance to get back together again.but the purpose of that talk is to clarify to him if since he broke-up with you, is the picture of seeing you with someone also on his mind?if he said yes, then you know you got to move on already.if you feel awkward in talking to him then my simple straight answer is just, move on because there are a lot of wonderful guys out there and i believe you had the 2 months together because you are a wonderful person, too.

If you want to wait for him, then wait.  If you feel like you should move on, then do that.  I can't imagine trying to date anyone else while you still have feelings for him, if you do.  But what are the chances he was lying to you about why he broke up with you?

i think so. i broke up with my gf, not because i didnt like her, but because my gf was seriously the LAST thing on my mind. I was so busy, i though she was feeling neglected. It was proably for the best :D
