The linens are usually disgusting or smell like bleach.

The linens!  Not only is there the fear of them being filthy (blacklight test, anyone?),  but I hate the way they feel.  The sheets are all stiff and itchy, and the blankets are all nubbly or too thick or too thin.  And the pillows suck.

well..... "there is no place like home".... and there is a possibility their beds have bed bugs, depend how old and where they get thier matresses from.

I don't hate that much about hotels, matter of fact I love GOOD hotels.Most of the Hotels I stay in are pretty clean.When reserving a hotel room always check it out on the Internet.Its got to be a four star or better, or else its pot luck. My biggest concern on getting a room, is, 1) Air, it must have great air, 2) soft beds,3)Good cable.Give me those 3 things and I'm happy.

If you sharing the room with 3 more more people, not enough toilet paper & towels.

They sometimes wash their drinking glasses with windex.
