There supporters are just different to supporters of other teams, they are up them selves think they are the best (both fans and club) they think they are invisable and are the first to pay out another club but when it happens to them it seems to be "okay" or a "different situation"

I believe that people think Collingwood is a bad club, because it is a big club, with the majority of supporters. Yes, there are many arrogant supporters of the Pies, but not all of us are like that, and I think that every club has their ferals! The recent media scrutiny regarding Shaw and Didak hasn't helped the club's publicity, and I think that some of the Magpies history may have something to do with that!

Anyway, what would footy be without a little bit of rivalry! =)

I love how basically every team hates collingwood it makes it more interesting, I don't like them because of Eddie I met him at the footy once and he just acted all superior and up himself!

I like Eddie McGuire. I met him at the Footy Show in 1995. He is quite a gentleman.

My issue with Collingwood--the constant whining about their "so called" clash jumper. It is not a clash jumper.

Eddie needs to employ a designer and come up with a legitimate, real, actual clash jumper. One day when one of his boys mistakingly kicks or handballs to a North or Geelong player and it is the direct cause of a Collingwood defeat (especially in the finals), the "real" clash jumper will be announced the next day.

I am an Eagles supporter.

When I was about 11 I went to an Eagles and Collingwood game. I was so scared!! Dad yelled some abusive thing at Darren Mullane, all the nearby Collingwood supporters looked at him like they were going to go him! I feared for our lives, lol.

Haven't liked the team or supporters since! Still have nightmares . . . !!!

I don't really follow any one team, just like footy as a game to watch. I've asked a few different people why they don't like Collingwood and it seems to just be a general dislike, no one really knows why. I guess it's just an age old thing that's been carried on from generation to generation.....no good reason not to like them, they just don't.  But then, the people who do like them love them and are very strong supporters.  While I don't go for any one team, I do like to see Port lose.  :p

in all honesty, probably nothing, but every competition needs a team that everyone else loves to hate, its healthy for rivalry, and in the AFL, collingwood pulls that card

rivalries like that just tend to add that little bit of bite to a game

I've never had a problem with Collingwood as a Team.

It is a few individuals from the team that i don't really like..

But most of the guys that have played for Collinwood over all of these years have been great guy,only the ones that are causing trouble are doing it to such an extent that it is giving the whole team a bad name..
