What do you have to do to open your own day care?

can anyone give me any pointers or tell me everything i need to do...my friend wants to start her own daycare but doesnt know what to do. I know you need a license but how do you go about getting that.

You need to get a license from the city. They have a test you need to pass. Also a background check. Need a site for the daycare approved by government officials. Also need to put the employees through training after they pass a background check.
