What do you have to do to win the AL Wild Card?

I just forgot. Im asking cuz the Yankees probaly arent gonna win the AL East and wat do they have to do to win the AL Wild Card?

They have to be better than the second place teams in the AL West and Central.

You have to have the 4th best record in the entire league.  Don't be surprised when the Yanks win the East!!!  GO YANKEES...

Have the best record other than a division winner. They can have a better record than the Twins/White Sox etc. even if they win their division. But they would still be the wild card team and face the team with the best record as long as it's not the Rays or Red Sox because you can't face a team in your division in the ALDS or NLDS

It's gonna be the Rays, the Boston Red Sox are going to wi the division because of there pitching, and Jason bay is good, people shudn't cry about Manny being gone, and the Yankees are just not good enough. The rays are just awsome. the white sox will win the central and of coarse the angles will win the west.

It's not the fourth best record. It is the best record for a team that didn't win their division. It will probably be Tampa Bay- Phillies, Angels, Yanks and TB with the Wild Card
