What do you have to do when you do community work for the police as a punishment?

Depends on what you are assigned. My son worked at the City dump. Many community organizations apply for work to be done under community service. Mostly cleaning.

wash the cop cars

clean up the cop shop, wash the floors, dust.

pick up trash along the highway
