What do you honestly think of the Disability Support Pension in Australia?

Do you think people who have real disabilities are on it or do you think its a con??? I hate it personally, just wanting opinions about it from others, so please give you voice hear???

  1. Where does it say that 750,000 people are on it in Australia? In a country of only 20 million people, that's ridiculous, surely.

    It exists for a good reason so if a few bad apples aren't on it for the right reason, bash the apples, not the overall system.

    And how would we know about people's disabilities when they are people we don't even know? How can you hate the pension? It's there to ensure that disadvantaged people don't starve to death. We pay our taxes to live in a civilised society and that's just part and parcel of it. If you don't like it, try living somewhere else where you can just rot in the gutter if bad luck comes your way.

    It's just nasty and ignorant and mean to generally diss people we don't even know anything about. Leave it to the government to sort them out. They have a better understanding of what's really going on than Today Tonight does.


  2. 750 000 people are on it... clearly some are fake. That annoys the h**l out of me.
