  1. I think of "Alien"

    no joke

but the name Arien should be tweaked a bit to sound more like a girls name since Arian(Arien) is for males. Fix it how you like and what you feel most comfortable with.

  2. Sorry it's too close to Arian - which makes me think of Aryan. Maybe if you changed it around a little bit. Arianna isn't so bad. It definitely sounds prettier that way. :-)

  3. it's a fine name.  But I think a few of the uneducated will get it mistaken with Aryan, that crazy idea of the white race thing.

When I first read it I read something halfway related to LOTR elvish and Rohannian.

  4. In my opinion, I don't like the spelling. My friend named her daughter Arin and I like how spell it.

  5. I have a daughter Erin, pronounced as spelled. its an easy name and its been mispronounced all her life. They announced Erwin Dona&&& at her HS graduation and I almost missed the photo of her receiving her diploma. If people are so dumb they can't say Air Ehn, you'll never get them to say AR ee Ehn. maybe spelled Areehn....no that doesn't look right.

I don't know how to help. I just don't want your daughter to hate her name due of  the ignorance of others .

When my Erin was from about 5 to 12y/o she wanted to change her name to Cindy because nobody would think she was a boy or say her name wrong. it was sad. now she loves it though.

    edit

for a boy Aaron. For a girl I have seen erin, ehrin and eryn.

none of these are pronounced like yours

  6. aeriola

  7. when i first read it i thought...how cute and original and then i thought of hitler's germany...so yeah maybe changing the spelling...to Arienne if you're set on the name...despite my second thought it really is a cute name...

  8. nahh i dont like it too much

sounds like Alien sorry.. its not too bad

    but..

    i like the names

    Ameeka

    Ariel and

    Anika

  9. It sounds kind of masculine to me.

  10. looks like a spelling of Erin to me.  i personally like it as a different spelling to  Erin. i have never liked Erin (for a girl) but love Aaron (for a boy). i like the name Erin, just not the spelling.

Arien is cute. i wouldn't have pronounced it the way you do though.

  11. It kind of reminds me of Korean...

  12. I think of Adrienne without the "D." Perhaps because it's my daughter's name except we spell it Adrianne.

  13. It's an interesting name. She is not guilty if her parents choose such a name. As much as I found out, it's a boy's name.

  14. sounds like the the n**i term for the white arien race I wouldnt go for it she would never hear the end of it.  it would just be plain wrong

  15. i never heard it before. i like it - it is original and pretty.

  16. it sounds  like  areola...dont  do   it.

  17. Now days people are using unisex names more often than not, I really believe Arien is a girl's name, and Arian is a boy's name.

  18. I like it.  I wanted to name my daughter Aria,(That was 30 years ago and her name is Kristi now)  but my ex husband wouldn't let me.

  19. I have never heard of it.

    it is cute

    how about  Irene

  20. the tribe of people from a really long time ago who enslaved the darker skin because they were inferior. talking caveman time here. learned about them in ancient medieval history. i like the name though

  21. I like it....I even know someone with this name....very cute....I also like Erin very similar?

  22. It sounds nice ,but I worry that it will be mispronounced a lot.  I first wanted to pronounce it "Airy -En"  (like Aryan).  What if you changed the spelling to Arienne? (but that's just me...  )  :)
